The NI PXI-8360 is a PXI remote control module that establishes a high-bandwidth MXI-Express x1 link between a host computer and a PXI system. It enables software-transparent control of PXI and CompactPCI systems from a remote PC without requiring additional programming. The module delivers 132 MB/s MXI bandwidth with 100 MB/s sustained throughput and supports cable runs up to 7 meters, making it ideal for distributed test architectures in mobile field testing, vehicle data logging, NVH analysis, NDT, and RF applications.
