Equipment info

The North Atlantic VXI-5410C-129 is an eight-channel, 16-bit isolated multiplying digital-to-analog converter module for VXIbus systems. It delivers precision analog outputs across programmable voltage ranges with 50 mA per-channel current capability. The module operates in both standard D/A and multiplying D/A modes, supporting gain variation of analog inputs. Remote sensing on each channel eliminates cable voltage-drop errors, while internal protection safeguards outputs if sensing is disconnected. A built-in self-test provides 95% fault detection to module level, completing verification within 80 seconds using an internal DVM. Programming occurs via Control Intermediate Interface Language (CIIL) with embedded TMA support.
