– Key Features
• Electrical Performance: Low dissipation factor enables high Q-factor RF circuits with minimal signal attenuation. Stable dielectric constant ensures repeatable impedance control across temperature and frequency.
• Mechanical Robustness: Tensile strength 6.90 MPa (X/Y), flexural strength 24 MPa, elongation at break 7.3%. X/Y CTE matched to copper minimizes dimensional tolerance drift; low tensile modulus reduces solder joint stress during thermal cycling.
• Thermal Management: Thermal conductivity of 0.60–0.69 W/mK dissipates heat from copper traces effectively. Low Z-axis CTE (24–25 ppm/°C) preserves plated through-hole integrity under thermal stress.
• Dimensional Stability: Excellent in-plane expansion matching with copper cladding; peel strength 1.56 kN/m.
– Typical Applications
Microwave circuits, RF stripline and microstrip designs, high-frequency signal transmission systems, and high-power applications requiring heat dissipation.
