The Rohde & Schwarz ENV216 Two-Line V-Network is a Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) for conducted emission measurements on single-phase Equipment Under Test. It provides defined impedance across 9 kHz to 30 MHz to ensure accurate, repeatable disturbance voltage measurements in compliance with CISPR 16-1-2, EN 55016-1-2, ANSI C63.4, and MIL-STD-461D/E/F standards. The unit handles AC supply voltages to 240 V ±10 % and constant currents to 16 A, making it suitable for laboratory and on-site testing environments.
Technical Specifications
The ENV216 simulates impedance of (50 μH + 5 Ω) || 50 Ω with magnitude error limits of ±20 % and phase error of ±11.5° across its operating band. It accepts AC supply from 50 Hz to 60 Hz ±5 % or DC up to 50 V. For AC voltages below 90 V or DC below 50 V, an external plug-in power supply is required for logic operation. A built-in pulse limiter (switchable) and 10 dB attenuator pad maintain standard impedance presentation to the measuring receiver. A switch-selectable 150 kHz high-pass filter prevents receiver overdrive from low-frequency interference. The artificial hand (220 pF + 511 Ω) is supplied as standard.
Isolation between AC supply and measuring receiver port exceeds 0–40 dB from 9 kHz to 50 kHz (increasing linearly with frequency logarithm) and exceeds 40 dB from 50 kHz to 30 MHz.
