The Rohde & Schwarz FSH20 is a handheld spectrum analyzer for field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RF systems. Operating from 9 kHz to 20 GHz, it delivers measured sensitivity down to –162 dBm (typical, with preamplifier at 8–13.6 GHz, 1 Hz RBW) and supports both scalar and vector network analysis. The instrument combines general spectrum analysis with digital signal analysis across GSM, WCDMA, LTE, CDMA2000, and TD-SCDMA standards. Its measurement suite includes channel power, TDMA power, adjacent channel power, and pulsed signal analysis. Cable, antenna, and interference localization capabilities extend field diagnostics. Level measurement uncertainty stays below 1 dB across 10 MHz to 3.6 GHz and below 1.5 dB to 20 GHz. IP3 performance reaches +15 dBm typical from 300 MHz to 3.6 GHz. Phase noise at 500 MHz measures –127 dBc/Hz typical at 1 MHz offset.
