The Rohde & Schwarz NGU201 is a single-channel two-quadrant source measure unit delivering 60 W across 0–20 V with adaptive current sourcing up to 8 A below 6 V and 3 A above. It sources and sinks power with automatic mode switching, enabling precise battery simulation, charge/discharge characterization, and dynamic load emulation. The instrument combines sub-microsecond load recovery ( 6 V)
• Voltage Resolution: 6 ½ digits or 1 µV
• Current Resolution: 100 pA or 10 µA (10 A range)
• Measurement Accuracy: 0.025% across all ranges
• Data Acquisition: 500 ksample/s; 2 µs time resolution with FastLog function
• Load Recovery Time: < 50 µs
• Output Noise: < 500 µV RMS / < 1 mA RMS
• Channel Configuration: Floating, galvanically isolated
• Protection: Overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, and over-temperature with user-adjustable thresholds
