The Rohde & Schwarz NRP-Z31 is a three-path diode power sensor designed for precise power measurements across RF and microwave applications. It delivers a dynamic range of 90 dB for both CW and modulated signals, supporting continuous average, burst average, timeslot average, time gating, and trace measurement modes. The sensor operates from 10 MHz to 33 GHz with a 3.5 mm connector and achieves up to 1500 measurements per second in buffered mode. It integrates with Rohde & Schwarz NRP2 base units or connects directly to a PC or laptop via USB, making it suitable for wireless standards testing (LTE, 3GPP, GSM, WiMAX, WLAN), automotive radar development at 24 GHz, and satellite communication system maintenance. The sensor compensates for cable losses, reflections, and other interfering effects using offset, S-parameter, and Γ correction techniques.
