The Rohde & Schwarz NRP50P is a pulse power sensor engineered for high-precision measurements across pulsed signal environments spanning 50 MHz to 60 GHz. It delivers power measurements from –60 dBm to +20 dBm with sampling rates up to 80 Msample/s and measurement speeds reaching 80,000 readings per second. The sensor captures fast pulse signals with rise/fall times below 13 ns and resolves pulse widths as short as 50 ns, enabling detailed reconstruction of radar pulse envelopes with 12.5 ns time resolution. Equivalent time sampling extends time resolution to 100 ps for magnified signal analysis. An automatic pulse analysis function extracts 15 key pulse parameters without manual intervention, reducing measurement time and operator error. The NRP50P integrates with R&S NRX base units, NRPV virtual power meter software, and the broader NRP-Z sensor family via USB or LAN connectivity. Its compact form factor (110 mm × 27 mm × 35 mm) and 0.2 kg weight make it suitable for laboratory and field deployment. Maximum video bandwidth reaches 30 MHz in standard mode; trace mode operates at 100 kHz bandwidth.
