The Rohde & Schwarz NRX Power Meter is a precision measurement instrument for RF power characterization across DC to 110 GHz. It accepts multiple Rohde & Schwarz power sensor families—NRP, NRQ6, and NRT-Z directional sensors—enabling absolute power measurements, pulse analysis, and derived calculations in single or multi-channel configurations. The 5-inch TFT touchscreen with 800 × 480 pixel resolution displays results numerically or graphically, with color-coded parameters for rapid parameter assessment. A standard base unit provides one measurement channel; hardware and software options expand capability to four channels. Advanced measurement modes include continuous average, burst average, timeslot, time gate average, CW, and pulse operation. Calculated values—ratio, SWR, return loss, and reflection coefficient—complement absolute and relative power readouts. Directional power sensors and the NRX-B9 option enable bidirectional power determination on transmission lines. Remote control and test automation integrate via Ethernet, USB, and optional GPIB, making the NRX suitable for bench characterization, production test, and systems integration environments.
