Equipment info

The Sorensen DCS600-1.7 is a 1 kW programmable DC power supply delivering 0–600 Vdc at 0–1.7 A, engineered for precision voltage and current control in laboratory, industrial, and research applications. Automatic mode crossover between Constant Voltage and Constant Current operation adapts to load changes. Line and load regulation both measure 0.1%, with meter accuracy of 1% full scale plus 1 count. Ripple and noise remain low at 0.2% RMS typical. Transient response recovers to within 1% of steady-state output in less than 1 millisecond during 70–100% load steps. Front panel ten-turn potentiometers enable high-resolution voltage and current adjustment with simultaneous digital display. Over-Voltage Protection is adjustable and programmable both locally and remotely. Remote sensing compensates for output lead voltage drops up to 4 V per line. The unit accepts 100–132 Vac or 200–260 Vac input, single-phase, 47–63 Hz operation.
