Equipment info

The Stanford Research Systems PS355 is a 10 W high-voltage DC power supply delivering negative output from −100 V to −10 kV with 1 V resolution. Engineered for precision instrumentation and sensitive experiments requiring stable, low-ripple high voltage, the PS355 combines programmable voltage and current control with fast arc and short-circuit protection. Output voltage regulation reaches 0.001% for ±10% line variations and 0.04% across full-load swings. Ripple performance is <0.01% of full scale from 300 Hz to 300 kHz. The unit supports analog programming and monitoring via 0 to +10 VDC signals, RS-232 command interface, and optional GPIB connectivity for laboratory automation. At 8 lbs and consuming less than 80 VA, it integrates into standard bench and rack configurations while maintaining exceptional long-term stability of 0.01% per hour.
