The Technobox 3473 is a PCI mezzanine card adapter that enables CompactFlash cards and IDE/ATA devices to interface with computer systems via the PCI bus. Built around the CMD PCI-648 IDE controller chipset, it delivers data transfer rates up to 66 MB/sec using the Ultra 66 protocol, with fallback support for slower bus-master modes ensuring broad device compatibility. The adapter operates on a 32-bit PCI bus at 33 MHz and generates an internal 66 MHz clock to drive the IDE interface. CompactFlash slots support both Type I and Type II cards configured in true IDE mode, with selectable master or slave device designation. A rear PN4 connector accommodates additional IDE/ATA peripherals. On-board BIOS enables boot-up configuration on Intel platforms. An activity LED provides operational status indication.
