The Tektronix P6248 is an active differential probe for high-bandwidth signal measurements in digital IC design, high-speed serial bus analysis, and communication systems. It delivers accurate signal fidelity while minimizing loading effects on the device under test through low input capacitance (<1 pF differential, <2 pF common mode) and high input resistance (200 kΩ differential, 100 kΩ common mode). The compact probe head—measuring 9.3 mm × 12 mm × 78 mm with a volume of just 6 cm³—enables probing of small geometry circuit elements and surface-mount devices without sacrificing common-mode rejection performance.
