The Tektronix TDS420A is a 200 MHz, 4-channel digitizing oscilloscope engineered for signal measurement, analysis, and troubleshooting across diverse applications. It delivers 100 MS/s simultaneous sampling per channel with configurable record lengths up to 120,000 points, 8-bit vertical resolution expandable to 12-bit in Hi-Res mode, and vertical sensitivity from 1 mV/div to 10 V/div. The instrument supports video trigger modes (NTSC, PAL, SECAM) for video signal analysis and includes peak detect capability for glitch capture at 10 ns resolution.
