The Thorlabs LLD1530 is a compact, turnkey frequency-locked laser operating at 1532.8323 nm vacuum wavelength. It stabilizes actively to a NIST-traceable acetylene (C2H2) molecular transition via side-of-fringe locking, delivering frequency accuracy better than ±25 MHz at startup and long-term stability within ±80 fm. The DFB laser diode achieves a Side Mode Suppression Ratio of at least 35 dB and supports both automatic and manual frequency re-locking modes. Front panel LEDs and digital I/O signals provide lock status indication. This system operates across 10 °C to 40 °C and outputs fiber-coupled light through an FC/APC connector, making it suitable for precision metrology, gas sensing, instrument calibration, and dense wavelength division multiplexed telecommunications on the ITU 12.5 GHz grid.
