The Waters WAT020320 is a 2-meter analog cable engineered to connect Waters detectors to Bus SAT/IN or e-SAT/IN satellite interface modules. The cable facilitates analog-to-digital signal conversion for chromatography data systems, accepting detector signals in the range of -0.25 to 2.25 V. Signal inputs exceeding 2.25 V will saturate, limiting data fidelity. The cable is shielded to meet immunity requirements from external electrical disturbances; shield termination at chassis ground on one instrument only is mandatory for optimal performance. Maximum cable run length is 2 meters (6.6 feet) when used with SAT/IN modules, or 3 meters (9.8 feet) when terminating to screw-type barrier terminal strips, beyond which regulatory compliance for electromagnetic immunity cannot be assured.
