The Wavetek Model 184 is a 5 MHz sweep generator delivering six waveform types—sine, triangle, square, positive pulse, negative pulse, and DC—across a frequency range of 0.0001 Hz to 5 MHz. Engineered for precision testing and calibration, it combines broad frequency coverage with flexible sweep control and multiple output configurations. The instrument generates output amplitudes from 20 Vp-p open circuit down to 1 mV, with continuous DC offset adjustment between ±10V (open circuit) and ±5V into a 500 Ω load. An attenuator provides 0 to 80 dB control via 60 dB in 20 dB steps plus a 20 dB vernier.
