The Abaco Systems / Ramix PMC663 is a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) that delivers dual 10/100BaseTX Ethernet interfaces for high-performance network interconnects. Two independent 10/100BaseTX engines support full-duplex operation at 100 Mbps and 10 Mbps. An integrated DMA engine with deep FIFO buffers enables continuous, full-bandwidth data transfer with minimal PCI bus overhead. A PCI/PCI bridge optimizes performance and reduces host bus loading. Auto-negotiation automatically configures bandwidth and duplex settings for the highest available operating mode. The card complies with IEEE 1386 PMC standards and connects via RJ45 connectors. Two PMC663 boards directly cabled with a cross-over cable can establish a full-duplex 400 Mbps dedicated data path.
