It generates C/A code signals at L1 frequency with adjustable RF output, programmable navigation data, and Doppler control to replicate real-world receiver conditions. The test set supports single and multi-channel configurations—including 6 or 12-channel variants with upgrade paths—and enables both static and dynamic simulation scenarios with selectable preset NAV data patterns, ground station simulation, and programmable satellite vehicle parametrics.
