The Aeroflex / Tektronix / CDS 53A-128 Communications Card is an IEEE-488 (GPIB) interface module engineered for integration into the CDS 53/63 Series Card Cage system. This card functions as a communications translator and buffer between the IEEE-488 bus and the host system, enabling the entire chained card cage architecture to be recognized and controlled as a single IEEE-488 instrument compliant with IEEE Standard 488-1978.
