Agilent 44474A

The Agilent 44474A is a 16-bit digital input/output module for automated test equipment systems. It delivers 16 bidirectional data lines and 4 handshake lines, addressing control and sensing requirements in complex test environments. As a plug-in component for the Agilent 3488A Switch/Control Unit and 3499A/B/C Switch/Control Systems, the 44474A integrates directly into modular test architectures, supporting individual bit-level addressing, dual 8-bit port operation, or single 16-bit word control. Each I/O line sinks up to 0.125 A at Vout < 1.25 V, with open-collector output topology. TTL-compatible inputs and outputs enable straightforward interfacing to external logic and instrumentation. The module withstands ±30 V DC line-to-chassis on digital I/O lines and ±5 V DC on handshake lines, supporting high-voltage switching and signal routing applications.
