The Agilent 83493A is a single-mode clock recovery module that extracts stable timing signals from high-speed optical data streams for use with Agilent’s Infinium DCA oscilloscope family. By recovering the clock from received optical signals, it enables precise eye diagram analysis, jitter measurement, compliance testing, and performance assessment of optical communication systems. The module operates across standard telecommunications data rates from 155 Mb/s to 2.5 Gb/s and supports the full C-band wavelength range required for modern fiber optic deployments.
