The Agilent 85039B is a calibration kit for precision vector network analyzer measurements using 75-ohm Type-F connectors. It provides the electrical standards and mechanical adapters required to establish traceable calibration references on VNA systems characterizing cable, satellite, and RF components with Type-F interfaces up to 3 GHz.

The kit includes matched pairs of calibration standards and Type-F adapters. Loads (male and female) deliver return loss ≥ 45 dB from DC to 1 GHz and ≥ 38 dB from 1 to 3 GHz. Shorts and opens maintain phase accuracy within ±0.60° and ±0.55° respectively from DC to 1 GHz, tightening to ±1.00° and ±1.30° above 1 GHz to 3 GHz.
Physical standards include 75-ohm loads, shorts, and opens in both male and female configurations. Adapter set consists of Type-F male-to-male, female-to-female, and mixed-gender Type-F–to–Type-N adapters for versatile test port connectivity.
