The Agilent/HP 83485A is a plug-in optical/electrical module for the 83480A Digital Communications Analyzer and 86100A/B/C/D DCA mainframes. It delivers integrated optical receiver and electrical channel measurement capability for high-bandwidth optical signal analysis, eye diagram characterization, and SONET/SDH compliance testing. The module combines a calibrated optical channel with a dedicated electrical channel, each supporting dual bandwidth modes (12.4 GHz and 20 GHz) for flexible waveform acquisition and signal integrity assessment across optical networks.
