The Agilent/Keysight 8164B Lightwave Measurement System Mainframe is a modular platform for optical component and system characterization in R&D and manufacturing environments. Its architecture supports one tunable laser source slot and four compact module slots—configurable with power meters, return loss modules, tunable lasers, or fixed sources. The system delivers synchronized measurements across all channels with true triggering capability, integrated passive component and return loss testing, and graphical data visualization on a 640 × 480 pixel display.
