The Keysight 34945A is a one-slot plug-in driver module for the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit that provides power and control signals to external RF/microwave switches and attenuators. It expands the signal routing and conditioning capabilities of the 34980A mainframe, enabling control of up to 64 switch coils—equivalent to 32 SPDT switches or 8 multiport switches—and up to 8 attenuators when paired with a 34945EXT Remote Module. The module connects to external switches via distribution boards and supports switch readback capabilities.
