The Agilent/Keysight 4951B Protocol Analyzer is a portable diagnostic instrument for installation and maintenance of data terminal and data communication equipment. It monitors and decodes data transmissions, simulates network components, and performs bit error rate testing. The analyzer captures significant data volumes to integral mass storage and features Auto Configure functionality that automatically determines line parameters to initiate monitoring with a single keystroke.

BERT Capability: Simultaneous measurement of bit errors, block errors, errored seconds, and percent error-free seconds. Block sizes of 63, 511, 1000, or 2047 bits. Pseudo-random test patterns of 63, 511, or 2047 bits with single-error and burst-error injection.
