Sample thickness accommodates 0.1 mm to 3 mm (up to 5 mm with reduced accuracy), with minimum dimensions of 56 mm, preferably 60 mm or greater. An integrated digital micrometer enables precise thickness measurement during testing. The kinematic mount ensures rigid alignment critical for high-Q cavity operation and loss tangent resolution.
