Equipment info

The Agilent/Keysight 8756A is a scalar network analyzer engineered for amplitude-dependent parameter measurement in RF and microwave devices from 10 MHz to 40 GHz. It delivers 60 dB dynamic range and resolves magnitude to 0.006 dB on the CRT display, making it ideal for characterizing insertion loss, gain, return loss, and absolute power across component and system-level testing. The instrument provides up to 401 measurement points per sweep and supports trace averaging up to 256 traces. Fully programmable over HP-IB, the 8756A integrates directly with sweep oscillators, synthesized sweepers, and digital plotters for automated measurement workflows.
