The Keysight M9164A is a PXIe solid-state switch matrix that routes RF and microwave signals across 300 kHz to 6.5 GHz in automated test and measurement systems. The module features a 2×16 full cross-bar configuration with 128 total channels in 2-wire switching topology, enabling flexible signal path management in high-density ATE environments. Two RF paths remain in the ON state at any time while remaining ports are held in isolation, with unmatched isolation minimizing crosstalk. Output ports not in use are internally terminated to 50 ohms. The module delivers fast switching speed and ultra-long cycle life with built-in temperature stability, all controlled via Soft Front Panel or IVI commands from the host computer.
