The Anritsu 68097B is a synthesized CW generator covering 0.01 GHz to 65.0 GHz in a single coaxial output. Engineered for precision RF stimulus and swept measurement applications, it delivers ultra-low phase noise and exceptional frequency stability across demanding test environments. The instrument supports internal AM, FM, ØM, and pulse modulation, plus user-downloaded complex modulation. Step sweep capability spans 1 to 10,000 steps with 1 kHz minimum step size (optional 0.1 Hz resolution) and configurable dwell times from 1 ms to 99 seconds. Alternate sweep mode enables frequency sweeping between two independently configured ranges at different power levels. Manual sweep provides stepped, phase-locked frequency adjustment with user-selectable step counts or sizes. Remote interface support enables integration into automated test systems.
