The Anritsu 69295A is a synthesized signal generator delivering RF and microwave stimulus across 0.5 GHz to 65.0 GHz with exceptional output stability and wide dynamic range. Built for demanding metrology and device characterization, it combines precise frequency control with multiple modulation formats and flexible sweep architectures. The instrument integrates AM, FM, phase, and pulse modulation alongside user-downloadable complex modulation capabilities, making it suitable for vector network analysis, radar simulation, and broadband receiver testing.

Phase Noise: Ultra-low single sideband (SSB) phase noise typical of the Anritsu 69A family; SSB phase noise as low as –136 dBc/Hz (typical)

Frequency Resolution: 0.1 Hz (optional, Option 11)

Modulation: Internal AM, FM, phase, and pulse modulation; user-downloadable complex modulation

Sweep Modes: CW or step sweep with variable dwell (1 ms to 99 seconds per step), 1 to 10,000 steps, step size 1 kHz to full range, sweep width 1 kHz to full range. Switching time <15 ms + 1 ms/GHz or <40 ms (typical max.). Alternate sweep mode between dual ranges with independent power levels. Manual sweep provides phase-locked frequency stepping between limits.
