The Anritsu MA24005A is a thermal power sensor that measures average power across 10 MHz to 50 GHz with ±30 dBm to +20 dBm dynamic range. Built on Seebeck element technology, it converts thermal gradients into precise power readings independent of waveform type. The sensor integrates EEPROM-stored calibration factors and linearity correction data for consistent accuracy across temperature and signal conditions.
True-RMS detection enables accurate measurements of modulated and complex signals. Sensor linearity reaches 2.5% across the full frequency band. Temperature-compensated accuracy delivers <1% below 30 GHz and <1.5% at or above 30 GHz for power levels to +10 dBm. Rise time is <15 ms, supporting rapid power transient capture.
SWR performance varies by band: <1.90 (10–50 MHz), <1.17 (50–150 MHz), <1.10 (150 MHz–2 GHz), <1.15 (2–12.4 GHz), <1.20 (12.4–18 GHz), <1.25 (18–32 GHz), <1.30 (32–40 GHz), and <1.40 (40–50 GHz). All calibration is NIST traceable, ensuring traceability to primary standards.
