The Anritsu MS2724C Spectrum Master is a high-performance handheld spectrum analyzer delivering signal analysis from 9 kHz to 20 GHz. Built for field technicians and RF engineers, this instrument performs spectrum monitoring, interference analysis, regulatory compliance testing, and wireless network measurements in demanding environments. It combines portable design with advanced detection capabilities, supporting LTE, GSM/EDGE, W-CDMA/HSPA+, TD-SCDMA, and CDMA technologies.
Technical Specifications
Frequency Coverage: 9 kHz to 20 GHz with resolution bandwidth (RBW) from 1 Hz to 10 MHz in 1-3 sequence increments. Quasi-peak detection RBW options: 200 Hz, 9 kHz, 120 kHz. Video bandwidth (VBW) spans 1 Hz to 10 MHz with auto VBW support at RBW/VBW = 1 ratio.
Dynamic Range & Sensitivity: Dynamic range exceeds 104 dB in 1 Hz RBW. Displayed average noise level (DANL) reaches –160 dBm in 1 Hz RBW with preamplifier enabled, and –129 dBm typical up to 13 GHz without preamp. Phase noise: –100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset at 1 GHz. Measurement amplitude range: +30 dBm to –160 dBm. Amplitude accuracy ±0.5 dB typical for single sine wave inputs under Performance Sweep Mode.
Frequency Accuracy: ±25 ppb with GPS enabled.
Detection & Trace Analysis: Peak, negative, sample, quasi-peak, and true RMS detectors. Six markers with delta marker capability, or one reference with six deltas. Up to 40 limit line segments with one-button envelope creation. Trace save-on-event for limit line crossing or sweep completion.
