The Corning Purform SMF DCM DK-XX is a passive Dispersion Compensation Module engineered to counteract chromatic dispersion in long-haul and ultra-long-haul optical fiber systems. It compensates for dispersion in standard single-mode fibers, specifically complementing ITU-T G.652 compliant fibers such as Corning SMF-28™. This fully passive component operates across C-band and L-band wavelengths, delivering low insertion loss and optimized dispersion slope compensation for DWDM systems operating at 10 Gb/s and 40 Gb/s.
