The CORNING SMF-28e+ is a G.652.D compliant single-mode optical fiber engineered for metro and access network deployments. This 2.1 km spool delivers low attenuation across an extended wavelength range of 1260 nm to 1625 nm, with exceptional performance at 1550 nm (≤ 0.18 dB/km) and 1490 nm (≤ 0.21 dB/km). The fiber maintains backward compatibility with legacy single-mode installations while offering tighter manufacturing tolerances and improved macrobend characteristics.
