The Dicon GP700P is a programmable mainframe designed to integrate and control fiber-optic switching solutions, including switches, attenuators, tunable filters, and electrical triggers. Built on the GP700 platform, it delivers flexible optical routing and testing capabilities across telecommunications, research, and industrial applications. The mainframe supports manual control, IEEE 488.2 (GPIB), and RS-232 interfaces, with front-panel vacuum fluorescent display for real-time status monitoring. An internal instruction set enables up to four mini-programs with nine memory registers for storing complete or partial device configurations.
