The Fluke 1507 is a compact, field-ready insulation resistance multimeter designed for industrial electrical testing, commissioning, and preventative maintenance. It measures insulation resistance from 0.01 MΩ to 10 GΩ across five selectable test voltages (50 V, 100 V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V) with measurement accuracy ranging from ±(1.5% + 5) at higher voltages to ±(3% + 5) at 50–100 V. The instrument automatically calculates Polarization Index and Dielectric Absorption Ratio, detects live circuits above 30 V, and discharges capacitive loads under 1 µF in less than 0.5 seconds for operator safety.
