Equipment info

The Fluke 1941 Power Recorder is a power quality analyzer built for detailed event capture and RMS analysis in industrial and utility environments. Using Full Disclosure Technology, it records all power system disturbances without pre-set thresholds, eliminating the risk of missing subtle faults. The instrument samples voltage and current at 128 samples per cycle (6.4/7.7 kS/s depending on line frequency) and processes RMS values, power measurements, and comprehensive power quality parameters every full cycle.

Technical Specifications

Measurement Capabilities
• Voltage and current: 128 samples per cycle, phase-locked to 50/60 Hz
• Sampling rate: 6.4 kS/s (60 Hz) / 7.7 kS/s (50 Hz)
• Power measurements: W, VA, VAR, PF, dPF, THD (voltage and current)
• Harmonic analysis: Up to 63rd harmonic (with optional module)
• Event capture: Sags, swells, waveform faults; sub-500 ns resolution available
• Storage: 6,000 events standard; 96,000 events with Multi-session option
• Logging intervals: 1 second to 30 minutes, plus energy logging modes
• Power quality parameters: Voltage, frequency, unbalance, interharmonics, TID, flicker, mains signaling, voltage deviations

Electrical Specifications
• Channels: 9 total (4 voltage, 5 current including neutral and ground)
• Voltage input: Three-phase and single-phase (Wye/Delta)
• Current input: Clamp-on CTs or Flexi™ CTs; internal measurement to 20 A
• Operating voltage: 85–264 V AC, 47–440 Hz
• Power consumption: 40 W
• Backup power: NiCad pack (5-minute outage recording capability)
• Real-time clock: Lithium battery (10-year life)
• Accuracy: ±(1% + 0.04 A) for internal current ≤20 A; ±2.5% of reading for voltage/current

– Key Features

• Records complete waveforms with no threshold pre-configuration
• Captures min/max/average data across all measurement channels
