The General Photonics PolaFlex PSY-101 is a fiber optic polarization synthesizer, analyzer, and scrambler that generates, measures, and randomizes polarization states within optical fibers. The instrument delivers deterministic synthesis of arbitrary polarization states with high precision, integrating PolaDetect™ in-line polarimetry and PolaRite™ II/III polarization controllers for reset-free operation. It synthesizes polarization with adjustable angle and ellipticity, measures Stokes parameters and degree of polarization, and provides fast scrambling for depolarization applications. Insertion loss is 1.2 dB typical.
