The option 021 configuration includes a standard single-mode fiber output with straight contact connector, 20 MHz spectral linewidth, and internal/external digital modulation capabilities. Output power exceeds +6 dBm across the entire wavelength range with ±0.03 dB stability over one hour. Tuning speed is less than 10 seconds per 50 nm span. Wavelength repeatability of ±0.05 nm and 24-hour stability of ±0.02 nm enable reliable component and system characterization in telecommunications, photonics, and R&D environments. The module integrates into Agilent 816x series mainframes and requires warm-up of less than 40 minutes.
