The HP/Agilent 84812A Peak Power Sensor measures pulsed RF and microwave signals with high accuracy across 500 MHz to 16 GHz. Using balanced planar doped barrier (PDB) diodes and a wideband amplifier, it delivers envelope power detection with exceptional dynamic range and fast response. Automatic temperature compensation ensures measurement stability across environmental variations. The sensor integrates calibration data via onboard EEPROM, eliminating manual calibration steps. An N-type male connector and 1.25 SWR matching network enable direct integration with compatible power analyzers.
