The HP/Agilent 85021A is a precision microwave directional bridge for reflection coefficient and return loss measurement from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. It delivers directivity exceeding 40 dB above 40 MHz and maintains 40 dB at 18 GHz, enabling accurate characterization of microwave components across demanding test environments. The instrument integrates a single zero-bias Schottky diode detector for direct return loss measurement and accepts signals up to +23 dBm at its Type-N female input. Its APC-7 test port provides a stable, well-defined reference for reflection measurements. The compact, ruggedized housing (15 mm H × 110 mm W × 96 mm D) fits laboratory benches and field installations alike.
