The ILX Lightwave LDT-5412B is a high-precision thermoelectric temperature controller for laser diode and optoelectronic component stabilization. Built around a hybrid proportional-integral control algorithm, it delivers exceptional temperature stability and fast settling performance in laboratory, research, and industrial environments. The instrument features an intuitive front panel with LED display modes for setpoint, actual temperature/resistance, and TE module current monitoring. A bipolar linear output drives thermoelectric modules across a ±2.00 A range with low noise (<250 µA rms). Multiple temperature sensor modes—10 µA, 100 µA, and linearized 10 kΩ thermistor—accommodate diverse thermal sensing architectures.
