The ILX Lightwave OMH-6790B is an optical measurement head for precise power and wavelength characterization across the 830–1100 nm band. Built around integrating sphere technology, it delivers ±5.0% accuracy on power measurements from 1 µW to 10 W and ±0.2 nm wavelength accuracy, independent of beam profile, polarization, or launch conditions. Temperature-controlled silicon detectors ensure repeatable results and low noise across operating environments from +10°C to +40°C. The unit accepts standard 2.54 mm fiber input via FC, SC, LC, ST, and DIN connectors (with adapters), and includes an optional fiber exit port for spectral analysis integration. Designed as a plug-in head for the OMM-6810B Optical Multimeter and LPA-9080 series parameter analyzers, it simplifies laser diode and optical component testing by eliminating common measurement artifacts.
