The JDSU FBP-P505 is a handheld video inspection probe microscope designed for real-time examination of fiber optic connectors and optical devices. It delivers NTSC analog video output with dual magnification (200X and 400X), a 1/3-inch CMOS camera, and an integrated QuickCapture™ button for instant image documentation. The probe features a blue LED light source with 100,000+ hours lifespan, coaxial lighting geometry, and adjustable focus control positioned on the probe body. A 6-pin Hirose™ connector (without USB) interfaces with JDSU optical test units, T-BERD/MTS platforms, or PC/laptops via analog-to-digital converter. The rugged handheld design accommodates hard-to-reach connector inspection in field and laboratory environments.
