The JDSU FBP-PX1 is a handheld analog video microscope for inspecting fiber optic connectors and optical devices. This 200X magnification probe delivers real-time NTSC video output via a 4-pin Hirose connector, enabling inspection of male patch cords, female bulkhead connectors, and transceivers in confined spaces without hardware disassembly. Coaxial blue LED illumination with a lifespan exceeding 100,000 hours provides consistent end-face visibility. Manual focus adjustment on the probe body controls live image sharpness. The probe measures 140 × 46 × 43 mm, weighs 110 g, and connects to JDSU test platforms, HD-series analog displays, or PC/laptop systems via USB converter modules. Power is supplied through the connected display device or external USB module.
