Equipment info

The JDSU MAPM+2PS11 is a dual-channel InGaAs optical power meter module engineered for integration into JDSU MAP Series mainframes. This hot-swappable cassette module delivers precise power measurements across the 800 nm to 1650 nm wavelength range, supporting both single-mode and multimode fiber characterization. The module operates from −80 dBm to +10 dBm with linearity of ±0.05 dB across the +5 dBm to −50 dBm span and polarization-dependent responsivity of ±0.01 dB typical. Measurement output is available in dB, mW, and dBm units. The dual InGaAs detectors, each approximately 3 mm in element size, enable simultaneous dual-channel acquisition for high-throughput optical component and system characterization in telecommunications, research, and manufacturing environments.
