The Keysight E1361A is a 2-Wire 4×4 relay matrix switch module designed for signal routing in automated test systems. This register-based VXI instrument provides flexible crosspoint connectivity, allowing any of four inputs to connect to any of four outputs through 16 latching relays. The matrix is reconfigurable—remove factory-installed jumpers to operate as a dual 2×4 matrix or 8:1 multiplexer. Each crosspoint handles 2-wire connections (Hi and Lo), supporting voltages up to 250 V DC, 250 V AC rms, or 354 V peak. The module maintains programmed relay states during power-down and resets all relays to open upon power-on.
