The Keysight/Agilent/HP E8491B is a C-size, single-slot VXI controller that bridges PC and VXI mainframe systems via IEEE-1394 (FireWire). Operating as the VXI mainframe Resource Manager, it enables high-speed instrument control and data acquisition for automated test systems. The module installs in Slot 0 and supports up to 16 daisy-chained, tree, or star-configured VXI mainframes from a single PC.
